1.Introduction
Amitraz is a broad-spectrum formamidine insecticide and acaricide which is medium toxic. Non flammable, non explosive, easy to decompose and deteriorate when stored in a humid place for a long time. It has contact killing, antifeedant and repellent effects, as well as certain gastric toxicity, fumigation and internal inhalation effects. It is effective for all kinds of insect forms of Tetranychus, but it is poor for overwintering eggs. It has a variety of toxic mechanisms, mainly inhibiting the activity of monoamine oxidase and inducing excitation of non cholinergic synapses in the central nervous system of mites. Mites resistant to other acaricides also have high activity. The efficacy period can reach 40 ~ 50 days.

2.Application
2.1 To kill what pests?
It can control all kinds of harmful mites, has good control effect on wood lice, is effective on some Lepidoptera harmful eggs, has certain concurrent control effect on scale, aphid, cotton bollworm and red bollworm, and can also control cattle, sheep ticks and bee mites.
2.2 To be used on what crops?
It is mainly used for fruit trees, vegetables, tea, cotton, soybean, sugar beet and other crops, etc.

3.Notes
(1) When the temperature is lower than 25 ℃, the efficacy of amitraz is poor.
(2) It should not be mixed with alkaline pesticides (such as Bordeaux liquid, stone sulfur mixture, etc.). The crop can be used up to 2 times per season. Do not mix with parathion for Apple or pear trees to avoid drug damage.
(3) Stop using it 21 days before citrus harvest, and the maximum amount of liquid used is 1000 times. The cotton was stopped 7 days before harvest, and the maximum dosage was 3L / hm2 (20% amitraz EC).
(4) In case of skin contact, wash immediately with soap and water.
(5) It is harmful to short fruit branch golden crown apple. It is safe for natural enemies of pests and bees.
