2.Features and effect
Indoxacarb has a unique mechanism of action. It exerts its insecticidal activity through contact and stomach toxicity. Insects enter the body after contact and feeding. Insects stop feeding, dyskinesia and paralysis within 3 ~ 4h, and generally die within 24-60 hours after taking the drug.
Indoxacarb is not easy to decompose even when exposed to strong ultraviolet light, and is still effective at high temperature. It is resistant to rain erosion and can be strongly adsorbed on the leaf surface. Indoxacarb has no internal absorption, but has strong permeability (similar to abamectin).
Because it is insoluble in water, high efficiency, low toxicity and no chronic toxicity, it can also make gel and bait to prevent and control health pests, such as cockroaches, fire ants and ants, besides controlling lepidopteran pests. In the United States, indomethacin is positioned as a lepidopteran insecticide that can control American grass bug.
